I booked a night stay at Timez Hotel in Melaka and was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast provided. It had a homestay vibe and was worth the price. The location was extremely convenient, right below Jonker Street. The room was clean and comfortable for two people, and the staff were friendly and provided great service. The highlight was the staff member who spoke Mandarin and went above and beyond to help us book tickets to KL, even fetching them from the central station. highly recommended for a one-night stay near Jonker Street!
Would recommend this hotel.

The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The hotel is located near several restaurants and tourist attractions. The room had a nice view of the city skyline at night.
The bathroom was small and cramped with an old-fashioned showerhead that sprayed water everywhere. The walls were paper thin, and we could hear every noise from the neighboring rooms.

The hotel is strategically located, just a few steps away from the bustling night market. The mini bar is well-stocked and even offers capsule espresso to kick-start your morning. Plus, the room decor fits well with the local culture, which I found to be very unique.
I was not impressed with the breakfast at all. They offered a limited selection and the portions were pretty pathetic.
